About the project

System development and maintenance in Hong Kong Housing Authority

Duties

(T26) 1. To maintain and provide support for various web-based application systems; 2. To participate in system development and enhancements; 3. To perform programming, testing, application deployment and documentation; 4. To be involved in the delivery of all IT activities; 5. To support ad-hoc administrative tasks for the team; and 6. To perform administrative or other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Other requirements

1. Practical experience in web-based and Java programming, including knowledge of HTML5, CSS, scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript), and web frameworks (Spring MVC, React, JQuery, JSP, Bootstrap). 2. Knowledge of Oracle DBMS/SQL, MyBatis, and erwin Data Modeling. 3. Knowledge of build automation (Maven), reporting tools (e.g., Jasper Report), and object storage (e.g., Amazon S3). 4. Hands-on experience with open-source tools (Eclipse, Jenkins, Apache, JMeter, Gitea) is an advantage. 5. Hands-on experience with application support and system maintenance in various applications. 6. Hands-on experience with Building Control systems or inspection systems. 7. Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual. 8. Good communication (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills.
