About the project
Serving as a member of the in-house project team in the Digital Policy Office (DPO) to provide technical support for implementation of (A) a one-stop web platform for application and processing of after-death related public services (the Platform) and (B) AI and digital transformation projects by bureaux/ departments (B/Ds), coupled with research and the deployment of AI applications to support DPO in providing advisory services to B/Ds.
Duties
(T26) Part A related duties: i. To provide overall technical support for the design and development of the Platform ii. To evaluate vendor-proposed solutions in terms of technical feasibility for meeting operational requirements, readiness of system deployment, and security compliance iii. To assist in analysing user requirements iv. To assist in setting up server/cloud infrastructure v. To liaise with and manage the engaged contractor(s), and work with government staff for project implementation vi. To conduct user acceptance tests and follow up with the engaged contractor(s) and government staff for problem resolution and solution refinement vii. To assist in content preparation and integration with "iAM Smart" AI Assistant to align with Platform rollout Part B related duties: i. To provide technical input on AI and digital transformation projects, covering operating system, data communication, database, software, languages, etc. ii. To deliver suitable AI applications to support the work of DPO, including setup and monitoring of related server/ cloud infrastructure iii. To carry out AI application administration tasks such as user management, access control, security monitoring, and configuration management Other requirements: i. To assist in IT-related procurement, such as preparing technical specifications based on service requirements ii. To assist in preparing/maintaining/reviewing IT-related deliverables iii. To undertake other IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Other requirements
i) Knowledge in web platform development and administration is required ii) Knowledge in implementing AI and digital transformation projects (including procurement of appropriate software and hardware as well as design and development, configuration and deployment of AI tool to meet operational needs) is required iii) Knowledge in large language models (LLMs), application programme interfaces (APIs) and prompt engineering is required iv) Knowledge in setting up server/cloud infrastructure is required v) Working experience in user liaison and coordination is required vi) Project management experience or certification is most welcome
