About the project

Engagement of full-time Contract Programmer(CP) under the T-Contract arrangement of the Digital Policy Office (DPO), with a view to assisting in the development and implementation of a new application system "2nd Generation electronic Grant Management System (eGMS II)" of the Research Fund Secretariat of the Health Bureau.

Duties

(T26) Responsible for quality assurance of the development of the 2nd Generation Electronic Grant Management System (eGMS II): 1. Execute pre-defined UAT test cases to validate that core system features perform accurately against business requirements. 2. Identify, document, and report functional problems following the procedures and guidelines given by the supervisors. 3. Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes are successful and perform sanity checks to ensure new changes have not destabilized other system functions. 4. Assist the data migration validation checking of source versus target data to ensure complete, accurate, and corruption-free data migration. 5. Test converted data against the new system's validation rules&;#8212;including mandatory fields, format compliance, and cross-field dependencies&;#8212;to ensure operational readiness. 6. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors.

Other requirements

(i) Higher Diploma in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent; (ii) At least 1 years&;#8217; experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); (iii) At least 1 years&;#8217; experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); (iv) At least 6 months' experience in Document Flow/Workflow Management System; (v) At least 6 month&;#8217;s experience in JBoss Application Server is preferable; (vi) At least 6 month&;#8217;s in MySQL is preferable; (vii) At least 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV); (viii) At least 1 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; (ix) Criminal record checking is required.
